TreeCasa Hotel & Resort Nicaragua

It was an awful experience from the customer service side. They don't care at all about making you feel welcome at all. The shuttle service is a fake, they only care about the day pass people. The front desk takes hours in replying any text (they tell you to do it that way). Overall it is not worth the price. Terrible experience. The food is expensive and the pool is full of day pass visitors. Use your money other places.

TreeCasa is a truly unique and special place. The resort is located in the jungle just outside of San Juan del Sur. The cabins are built right into the trees, giving guests stunning views of the surrounding area, home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, and toucans, that we were lucky to see. The cabins at TreeCasa are spacious and comfortable. There was a private deck with hammocks and chairs, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. The cabins also have coffee makers, mini-fridges, and air conditioning. The resort has a variety of amenities, including different swimming pools, a bar, and a restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food. The pool is surrounded by lush greenery and has a waterfall that you can jump off of, which our daughter loved. The staff at TreeCasa is super friendly and attentive. They are always willing to help with anything you need. They also offer a variety of activities, such as yoga, salsa classes, hiking, and horseback riding. We had an amazing time at TreeCasa Resort. It is the perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable vacation experience.

Tree Casa was absolutely beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly. Incredible views of San Juan Del Sur. This is a resort in the middle of nature, so peaceful and relaxing. The food was delicious, the pools were amazing. Music and drinks were great too.

Spent New Year at TreeCasa with my fam, and the place is truly beautiful. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms are both elegant and cozy. You wake up to views straight out of a postcard. The food is seriously delicious. Left with a huge smile, and I'm already planning my next trip. Totally recommend it if you want an unforgettable experience.

Nice resort but the incessant cheesy music at the pool is headache-inducing. We tried to escape it to a new location but sadly those loungers were in front of speakers too. Adds nothing to the ambience. Really should tone it down or have it at one level of the pool only. Next they have lots of ‘day tripper’ at a low cost so the pool area was crowded with local families, shouting, kids pool bombing etc. Guests paying ＞$300 a night really get a raw deal re the pool area - more like a theme park noisy a**osphere, despite the surroundings. Thinking it couldn’t get any worse they then began clearing away the lounge chairs at 3pm because of a wedding. The wedding took over the dining room. And now at 1:30am in the morning there is the most awful music blaring throughout the resort as the wedding still ongoing. The room is at the furthest perimeter (annoying itself with a heavy suitcase) yet the music reverberates on full volume making sleep impossible. This is the most expensive hotel we’ve stayed at in Nicaragua and literally one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. They don’t care about their guests’ comfort what with day trippers taking over the pool area and then a wedding. As it’s almost 2am I can imagine breakfast area in the morning won’t be cleared up (bc that’s where the wedding is still underway). Thankfully only here 1 night, days of this would do my head in. Avoid avoid avoid. Horrible stay despite the cost.

We really wanted to love it, but there is so much to be improved here! For the high price we paid for a stay, the pool area & amount of guests needs reconsidered… so many day guests and so few loungers, we ended up sitting on wooden chairs and decking uncomfortably for the day more than once. Also the volume of the music and the 10 party songs you play on repeat doesn’t quite match the tranquil vibes you’re trying to sell. The grounds are beautiful, the food is tasty (albeit expensive) and your staff are friendly - but this isn’t enough when you charge as highly as you do.

Ok mom and dad-expect to pay a bit more for your awesome tree house hotel room and amenities but this will be the highlight of your kiddos trip fasho! The attention to detail across the board is noted from the exquisite accommodation/architecture design/landscape and gourmet restaurant, cakes, pies, signature cocktails, lookout platform, pool, slide, jump off waterfall and of course the wonderful and hard working, smiling people of Nicaragua there to serve you with maximum respect and hospitality at every turn and with a genuine gratitude for your visit. This is worth every penny if you’ve got coin and kids or just feel like one-get inspired!

Place in the middle of nature and a 15 minutes ride by car from the beach.
