La Luna Hotel

We arrived at La Luna after leaving our bags at the airport, which was a bit strange and a first for us, especially re security. There is a lift at the bottom of the hill, so you dont have to climb up the hill. Spiros and George were there to meet us and checked us in really quickly. We were then taken in the golf buggy to our room. We only had to wait about 15/20 minutes before our cases arrived. Our studio was clean and had a gorgeous sea view. We were on a self-catering basis, so we walked to the supermarket, which was a 5 min walk down the hill into troulos. One thing I would suggest for future visits is that the studios have washing up liquid, sponge/cloth, and a tea towel so we could wash and dry up with. We had enough plates/cutlery/glasses/cups. I did go to reception and ask for a sponge and tea towel from spiros, and he was more than accommodating, but it's just a suggestion to prevent any future guests complaining. We loved the hotel, we enjoyed the pool area, had some lovely food from the pool bar, and loved the location. The buses ran very regularly. We found that getting the bus from stop 21 was better for us, rather than walking to stop 20. The cocktails were also great from the pool bar. This hotel is a family owned business which is now run by Spiros and George. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in skiathos.

My wife and I stayed at La Luna for 10 nights in May. What a lovely place this is, fantastic views, spotlessly clean and friendly staff. The two brothers who run this hotel, George and Spiros were very accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of booking. Malc and Jenny.

Wonderful hotel and location. The owners and staff are so polite, professional and helpful. The room was very clean and up to date in decoration. The pool was spotless and the bar service along with the drinks were superb. The breakfast had a great choice and was lovely compared to other hotels we have stayed at before in Greece. We are returning to the same hotel next year so no need to say any more!!

Our 2nd time at this hotel. Absolutely nothing to dislike. The brothers and the rest of the staff are great. They just want to make sure your stay is wonderful.. rooms very comfortable and with a gorgeous view. Thank you for another memorable stay. Will definitely be back.

Just returned from another visit to our second home la luna ...As always George Spiros Alex and the rest of the team were excellent to us as usual this really is a special place ....First time in may so weather was a little chilly in the evenings occasionally plus a spot or rain was had but never the less a great time was had a distinct advantage of going in may is you don't have to book restaurants and the buses are not packed see you soon beautiful Skiathos and la luna for our annual visit

An amazing stay at La Luna Hotel, the pool area and sun loungers were comfy and the view of the sea is beautiful. The food at the pool bar was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were typical Greek but cosy and very clean. Access to the beach in 5 minutes, be careful though as it's quite rugged getting down there, you can also walk along the main road which takes about 15 minutes. The buses are great and very regular, although I can imagine they get packed in high season. There are around a 8 restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, I would recommend Ratatoulie we ate there twice. We didn't have a bad experience in any of the restaurants in Troulos. Make sure you visit Skiathos town which is beautiful and go on a boat trip.

This is simply an amazing hotel made so special by the guys that run it. They simply can't do enough to help. We waited a long time to finally stay here after covid cancelled the first few trips and then storm Daniel cancelled the next but Spiros was very accommodating with us re booking. Have a good rest guys through the winter as you work incredibly hard through the busy season.

The service from George and Spiros and their staff was second to none. The rooms were well presented and cleaned. And the view from the terrace looking down over Troulos bay was just superb to just sit and enjoy. The trek up to the Hotel was very steep followed by the climb up to the apartment but that is not the fault of the hotel so I would not mark them down for that especially as they have a golf cart on site to whisk anyone out of breath up the final bit.

We stayed at La Luna for two weeks at the beginning of June. The hotel itself is at the top of a steep hill but there is a lift from the main road to the main hotel areas & there is a short cut to the lovely Troulos beach directly opposite the entrance, though it’s a killer to walk back up that way! You couldn’t find better hosts. The brothers & their staff go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay. The rooms, although a little old fashioned are extremely clean and comfortable. They have self catering facilities so you can cook in your room if you wish, though we never did.. There is the most lovely pool area and you can pay extra for breakfast & lunch if you don’t want to have or make it in your room.. The wifi is a little sporadic but that didn’t bother us at all.. There are a number of restaurants in Troulos within walking distance to the hotel, Jasteri being our favourite. The hotel is also close to bus stop 21 to catch it into town, though we hired a car for our whole two weeks so didn’t use it..
