This is a really 5 Stars Hotel in the heart of Helsinki.  The infrastructure, the amenities, the services are impeccable from check-in to check-out and everything in between. Doormen are courteous and friendly. The Housekeepers are friendly, meticulous and polite.  The Gym is one of the best in the hotel industry. It is so well equipped for all muscle groups you wish to work on.  When one of my friend’s room and some issues, it was immediately remedied and service recovery was swift and effective.  Our rooms were actually extended and drinks grated gratis to wow us. I must say Willem Hagedoorn (the Deputy Hotel Manager) was really generous! All 5 of us were very impressed by the high quality customer service and first class hospitality standard of  NH Collection - we were delighted!  I even got a Birthday surprise from the Guest Relations Manager. Room was big and spacious. Breakfast was great and the staff were polite whenever I meet them along the way to the lift or back to my room. I would like to suggest if a dual card can be provided so that the room can be kept alight when the card key is removed and bring out as sometime the room is too dark and the door closes too fast before I can slot in the card. This hotel is close to the Helsinki central station and most of the itenary such as Helsinki cathedral or some of the nicely decorated library.

Pro - room spacious - quit place suitable for relaxing out from city busy /noise Con - A bit far from city centre. E-hailing cost €10 to city centre. Nearby Tram station / Bus about 800/500m

Easy to find, but a bit far from the airport. You need to walk 5min on snowy road mostly outside while there are other hotels closer and cheaper from airport.

It was a nice hotel. The room was clean and quite spacious. Do note there is no bellboy service (which is common in Europe) so you have to push your heavy luggages yourself. The breakfast was superb.

Winter wonderland. This hotel has a warm and loving ambience from the moment you enter reception. Lovely and patient staff that make you feel very welcome. The room was super cosy and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The hotel's location is very convenient and easy to walk to all major attractions. I will definitely be back.

The hotel is located in the heart of city center. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity which makes things very easy. Very close to train stations and many tram lines nearby. Staff and service are great. Breakfast is great. The hotel has a lot of tradition and is maintained very well. The gym is quite good too. Rooms are not very big but spacious enough. Bathroom is very nicely designed and comfortable.

Clean, Cozy and close to the central station and everything. Very good for the money when you think about how expensive everything is in Northern Europe. All the staffs I met were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also amazing. Try their oldest elevator located in the centre of the building.
