Dimora del Pescatore - Holiday House

We arrived before the check in time but our host Dario arranged for his mum to let us in and leave our luggage. She was absolutely lovely and Dario could not be more helpful, he really does go above and beyond for the guests of this B&B. His communication with us was excellent and luckily for us he speaks very good English. The location is so good, close to the beach, shops and restaurants are all around. Cefalu is a very charming town and we spent 2 happy days wandering its streets and enjoying amazing food. Dario recommended the restaurant Da Sasa which we would highly recommend, and also bar Jureka which was near to the restaurant and also very much recommended. The room is beautifully decorated and there is shared use of a lovely kitchen. Dario went to the bakery in the morning to get pastries for our breakfast - delicious. If you need to burn off any pastry calories, walk up La Rocca. Well worth the effort. Thank you very much to Dario for looking after us so well. Note for drivers: unless you have a residents permit you can't park in the old town so it's necessary to have parking on the edge of the old town, we used Parcheggio Dafne, Cefalu.
