A top tier Guest House.. A group of 6 of us went April 24-26 and it was a breath if fresh air. Barbara made us feel like we were at home. A warm welcome with a very clean property. Breakfast is very good.. I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go back.

In 43 years of business/relaxation trips to Jamaica, I cannot recall a more welcoming and positive place to stay than Barbara's Polish Princess Guest House, a few miles from Port Antonio. VERY much a bargain for those not needing the All-Inclusive experience in JA. The lush foliage of Portland Parish surrounds her comfortable location, and is a mile or so from one of the island's most beautiful beaches, Frenchman's Cove. An excellent breakfast is served each morn. The accommodations make for a simple, clean setting, the staff is efficient, and the owner is a fine source of recommendations for this area. No hassle, no stress: just one of the best corners I've experienced on this island.

We loved our stay at Polish Princess. The guest house is very nice, with spacious rooms (including walk-in-closet) and a big terrace to hang out. Barbara is the nicest host, always helpful and charming. Breakfast is plenty and delicious and two wonderful, local Winifred Beach is just a 20 min walk away. And only few minutes from the Guest House you’ll find Tropical Lagoon Resort, which has free access to a small beach down at Blue Lagoon. Make sure to ask at reception whether the bar at the beach is open, Steve serves the best cocktails while you dream away in a hammock. You can also rent kayaks and go see some turtles. For us, Port Antonio was definitely the best place to stay in Jamaica!

Amazing time spent with family at Polish Princess. Barbara, the owner, was so helpful, even before we arrived she sorted out a mini bus for us, taking photos and agreeing a competitive rate. We had 5 bedrooms which were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit followed by a tasty breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara and her attentive staff. The location is pretty, lots of fruit trees and we loved sitting on the roof terrace early in the mornings listening to the birds. Within 10 minutes you can walk to Blue Lagoon which was stunny. Then a further 15 minutes on to Frenchmans Cove which our family really liked. Barbara was on hand if you needed any help, she even arranged for the ice cream van to come down to serve us. We are already planning our next visit in 2025. Fully recommend this bed & breakfast.

Of all the places my boyfriend and I stayed in Jamaica, this was my favorite. There, you can be closer to nature, connected to other travelers, and more in touch with a little slice of authentic Jamaica. After the road riddled with potholes to get there (hopefully this will be fixed soon), the opportunity to relax in the outdoor chairs (each with a table and outlet nearby) or on the rooftop (with fun games/activities, too) was wonderful. The hostess, Barbara, has created an extension of her home, both in terms of the rooms she has added on and in terms of they way she warmly welcomes and cares for her guests. Her knowledge of the area, her sound advice, her amazing cooking skills, and her willingness to go above and beyond to cater to our requests (a hot water kettle, a set of dishes to use, beach towels to borrow) made her a stand-out owner and solidified my love of this place. The effort to get there is well worth it, as the beaches in the area are, in our opinion, the best you'll experience in all of Jamaica. It is a place you'll want to book for more than one night, for sure...We would certainly book it again if we were to find ourselves in Jamaica once more.

Excellent Excellent home experience the food is wonderful... staffs are friendly the environment is clean.. this is an excellent place to have some family time. Miss Barbara is such a wonderful soul .. hats off to everyone

PolishPrincessguest in Portland was an amazing choice, the management staff very accommodating and work staff Gary and Nordia is above and beyond, environment is clean, peaceful and quite, the rooms clean and comfortable

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the environment was fresh. Close proximity to all the attractions that are popular in Portland. Breakfast was inclusive and freshly prepared.

My family and I decided on enjoying our weekend in Portland the vegetarian 🌱 parish, we were introduced to the polish princess guest house by a fail manger who mess our reservation up☹️. Upon arrival to the Polish Princess Guesthouse, we were greeting by this smiley blonde name Barba. And from that moment until we checked out the hospitality has been above and beyond. I’m in the tourism industry for 11 years and this is far the best experience I’ve seen. Big up Gary the all rounder and he’s right hand, can’t remember her name but they ensure that our breakfast 🍳 is ready our time and that our rooms are clean 🧼, I recommend this place anytime and we will definitely be back one day 🙏🏽

We spent 3 days at the Polish Princess Guest House, Jamaica. She's listed on Airbnb and booking .com. Highly recommended!!! Trip advisor also highly recommend. She's at the top of listings. Very affordable. But that's a bunch of besides the fact. From the moment we pulled in to the little lot she greeted us at the gate. Helped us carry in our luggage. Made us feel right at home she had the service of a concierge. she brought a hot water kettle to our room with coffee cups so we could make coffee any time we wanted (there hasn't been any coffee makers around since we've been here. Our only access has been instant coffee). Her television in the room let me log into my own Netflix account. While that might not seem like a bonus, it still gets dark by 5:30 here and the bugs eat me alive. So in the room with the comfort of my shows was a nice way to wind down. Every morning she had a home made breakfast for us, started with fresh squeezed juice and fresh local fruit. She was always quick with beach recommendations and good shops and restaurants near by. When we came back in the afternoon from our adventures she had our bed made, clean towels and our clothes folded. If there was wet towels (of our own) she would hang them to dry. I always felt safe here, while at any other places, if I can, will keep the do not disturb on the door. Here, we was excited to tell her good morning, and right around the corner if we needed anything. If you're looking for mom on your vacations, I found her! She's a Polish-Jamaican immigrant, named Barbara. She's lived in Jamaica for 18 years so she knows her stuff. She worked very hard at making us comfortable and always did with a smile.

Fantastic place ! My husband and I have just stayed at the Polish princess for 9 nights, we ended up staying here after another guest house cancelled our reservation once we had already arrived in Jamaica, we were upset at first but it worked out wonderfully as we can not rate this place enough, Barbara and her staff did their upmost to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember . Barbra treats her guests like family and nothing was too much . The rooms were clean and had all the necessities you need . The breakfasts are delicious, with a great variety available throughout our stay . Barbara had great knowledge of the area and arranged a local taxi to support our endeavours in seeing some of the beautiful hot spots Portland has to offer . This guest house is fantastic value for money and is situated in a great location . Not only did we have a great stay but we have made a great friend in Barbara and will definitely be keeping in touch , will be back soon ! We have just returned from a 4 night stay, we are a family of four , children 12 & 8. It was important that we had breakfast included in our stay & if food was needed in the evenings they our host would be able to accommodate. Barbara is incredible, very hospitable, nothing is to much trouble. Breakfasts are amazing & filled us up ready for the day ahead with something different everyday. Our room was spacious with good size comfortable beds, very clean & ample space for suitcases & wardrobe with hangers. We had a fridge & complimentary water on arrival. Plenty of room for parking & in a fantastic location for Frenchman’s cove ,San San beach & Boston beach Once again Thankyou for looking after us Barbara , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay .. we will be back The Wests xx

We stayed there in July 2022 and we rate our experience there as excellent. The staff and owner went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel and will always choose when visiting Portland Jamaica.

Un accueil chaleureux, des chambres confortables, un petit déjeuner généreux, un très bel emplacement. Une super adresse, proche des plages, accès a diverses activités, tout le monde peut y trouver son bonheur. Je n'hésiterai pas à y séjourner de nouveau si j'ai la chance de revenir en Jamaïque.
