В целом, понравилось, само место шикарное с очень красивыми видами. Сам отель как будто без души, приехал/уехал, ни здравствуйте, ни до свидания. Завтраки неплохие, голодными не останетесь. При заселении в номере был шампунь и гель для душа. Мыла не было. Номер простой.

Отель H Benjamin расположен в тихом районе, на крутом склоне, вдали от городской суеты. Это прекрасное место, где можно просыпаться под лучами гор, и оно станет прекрасным, если немного улучшить пространство и удобства. 1) Пружинная кровать ужасно жёсткая, пружины чувствуются даже сквозь кровать. Вешалка для одежды тоже чуть не развалилась. 2) Вентилятор не работал, поэтому влага из туалета попала в номер, отчего стало очень сыро. 3) Предоставленный нам чайник чуть не загорелся, так как из розетки шёл дым. К счастью, мы вовремя среагировали. Когда мы сообщили об этом на ресепшен и попросили кого-нибудь проверить, нам ответили лишь «ОК». Возможно, это языковой барьер, но это не вселяло уверенности в безопасность следующего гостя. 4) Было бы неплохо предоставить в номере хотя бы один стул. Также было бы неплохо обустроить зону отдыха снаружи контейнерного домика, чтобы люди могли наслаждаться видом на горы.

Номер нормальный, расположение хорошее. Персонал очень услужливый. В номере нет ни кондиционера, ни вентилятора, поздним утром довольно жарко. Слишком близко к главной дороге, слышно проезжающие мимо машины. С балкона номера не видно горы, но вам придется выйти на парковку, чтобы увидеть чудесную гору. Выбор завтрака был ограничен, никакого шведского стола, нам очень нравится чар куэ тиау вкусняшка! Не забудьте зайти в кафе Chill@1850, вход с дороги прямо напротив отеля.

Almost perfect except for water heater. The view was so amazing and enjoy stay at this hotel. Food also good. Nice. Love and will repeat again.

We had a quiet and peaceful stay at this hotel. It’s perfect for those looking to relax and recharge. The highlight? The genuine mountain view. Open the windows and you’ll see the majestic Mount Kinabalu right in front of you—an absolutely breathtaking sight to wake up to. The room provides all the basic necessities, though there’s some room for improvement. A toothbrush set would be a nice addition. The electric kettle required some fiddling (I had to press it downward to get it working), and the smart TV, while functional, was a bit laggy and internet slow to load. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a different variety served each morning. As the only restaurant in the mountainous area, their dinner menu was decent too. Overall, this is a great place to rest, reset, and soak in nature with simple, scenic, and serene.

Amenities in the room, such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, cups, 3 in 1 coffee, tea, drinking water, towels, conditioning shampoo, shower gel and prayer mat for Muslims are available. There is no dental care kit, so bring your own. Otherwise, you'll have to drive a bit to buy one. It was my third time in Kundasang, so we rented a car and drove to the location. The road to the location is quite challenging if you're not used to the rural road. There are plenty of parking spaces there. I also saw guests with private tour guides who drove them around. I think that's a good idea, too. I booked the room with the mountain view, but the weather was not on my side. The mountain was in view very early in the morning when it was still dark, and then it was covered in clouds for the rest of the day. There is no aircon but a cute ceiling fan we didn't use because it was already cold. However, I wish I could open the windows without letting the bugs in. There were huge spiders making their webs near my window, and I dare not open it. The beds are okay - not the comfiest and only one rather flat pillow for our heads. We slept well nonetheless. We spent most of our time outside the room unless it's to shower or sleep. There's a cafe where we took our dinner to the outside dining area. The tables and chairs were scattered around so we had to arrange them ourselves. There is hot water, but at around 7am, the shower runs cold even with the water heater turned on. Could it be that everyone is showering at the same time? A simple breakfast is served at the cafe for the guests. When I was there, they had fried mi hun, French toast, sausages, baked beans, and eggs. There were two types of cereal. A bread station where you can toast your bread. Only white bread was available. Drinks were orange cordial, coffee, and tea. They replenish the food if finished, so don't worry about getting to the breakfast a bit late. The best thing about the whole trip was the booking, checking in, and checking out was hassle-free. Also, if you love flowers, walk around the place and admire their hydrangeas.

Decent breakfast, friendly staffs by the counter, majestic view of Mount Kinabalu from the residence/room. I will definitely come back to try the cabin stay.

Amazing view in the morning. Can see peak of mount kinabalu. Has a restaurant, so no need to go out at night for dinner. Complete amenities. Curtains was dirty. Need to change.

The hotel is clean, the view is magnificient and worth the stay. The cabin can be very cool at night. Nice place!

I gave the room 3 stars because we booked a cabin twin and noticed a strange smell, possibly due to the room being too humid. It would be great if a dehumidifier could be added to improve the air quality. The room was okay overall. It would be more comfortable if there was a small coffee table and some chairs for guests to sit outside the cabin and enjoy a hot drink, especially in cold weather. The restaurant managed by the same team serves tasty food with generous portions at affordable prices—highly recommended. The room includes free breakfast, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and hardworking. They made sure the breakfast and hot water were always available for guests. Last but not least, you can see Mount Kinabalu in the early morning. The view is truly stunning and a great way to start the day.
