Muy lindo y prolijo. El desayuno fue increible, la atencion tambien. Muy contenta. Quisiera volver en algun momento!!!!

Just checked out after a 4 day stay, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are happy and friendly, nothing seems too much trouble. We had premium garden view room which was spacious with a lovely clean modern balcony. Large bathroom with big walk in shower beautifully tiled. Tea coffee facilities mini bar with good size fridge for our supermarket bought cava Breakfast is amazing if you can’t find anything to suit you must be fussy. All varieties of fruit yoghurt and granola. Hot choices and an egg station. Breads pastries hams cheese you name it’s there. Pool and gardens very well kept and the lobby and communal living room are modern and comfy. The views are stunning and the surrounding streets are clean and quiet. If we return to Mahón I would definitely stay here again

My wife and I have returned from staying at the Catalonia in R227 Superior Garden room with Sun Terrace. We stayed for 11 nights. Weather was better than expected. Our welcome on arrival was extremely warm. From Juan the Concierge (thanks Juan) & Receptionists Ane & Tonia. We found all Reception staff very polite, friendly & helpful. The Taxi arrangements are excellent and very reasonably priced. Our room was excellent with all facilities required. Fabulous views and the most comfortable Sunbeds. Gina our housekeeper did a fabulous job in keeping our room Spotlessly clean. Thank you. We would like to give a big thank you, especially to Felicidad,Miriam and all staff in the Gastrobar. Great ambassadors for the Hotel. Our Pension was room only as we like to experience the local bars and restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner of which there is an excellent choice. We did have lunch in the restaurant on arrival which was excellent. We also did have dinner twice in the restaurant based totally on the lunch showing. Our dinner experiences were sadly less impressive. We did discuss our disappoin**ent with the restaurant manager & hotel manager. Who kindly made a very kind gesture to us. Thank you. We would recommend this Hotel for location, quality of rooms (based on our stay). The staffs attention to customer care and facilities. On our impression regarding our experience in the restaurant suggest a rethink on service & food standards. This is totally based on our experience as between us we have over 50 years of hospitality experience at a very high level. We would stay again. Thank you to all management & staff.

Firstly you need to be aware of what you're baoking here - the spa and pool and parking are all extra charges. The parking 20 euros a day (if you can't find a spot on the road - which is likely) and the sauna / pool area 20 euros PER HOUR/PER PERSON which is crazy IMO. Some of the rooms are decent, some are akin to a hostel, which they describe as "Seaview" whilst technically correct, rooms facing the sea are beyond horrific and I defy anyone of the staff to take a photo of them and defend those rooms on here. Tiny and absolutely horrible. The staff varied - Felicidad from the bar area was lovely and very charming, as too was Tania from the front desk - they were stand outs, while others were less cordial. The main restaurant where breakfast is served does have nice views and decent food, so some credit there, however, value for money is not anywhere near where it should be and there are better hotels a short walk away. If my company didn't pay the bill, I would not have.

We booked a premium room and were given a free upgrade to a garden view room, which was lovey and very comfortable. The staff on reception were all friendly and helpful especially Inma who couldn't have been more helpful. Good location, close to the town centre with nice views. We used the spa during our stay which was very good but the staff were rather fierce when we arrived and actually sat us down and told us off because we asked reception to book it for us :=( Disappointed in the breakfast, asked for scrambled eggs the first day and they were more like mashed up fried egg. poor and overpriced. Walked out to nearby cafes for breakfast the rest of the week which were excellent and better value for money. Disappointing that the bar closed at 11 and no room service after 11.30 either.

Initially I was in a room which was extremely cramped (I am a slim person and had trouble moving between the bed and the desk), the A/C did not work, the fan did not work, the seal on the glass door did not work - which flooded the bathroom, the vent in the bathroom did not work. After having to plead with the front desk staff for a different room and bring up the website which says that there are A/C and working fans, which was initially dismissed by the staff, I was moved to a different room which had all of the same issues except the fan in this room did work. Unfortunately the new room did not have any outdoor space and the vent for my room was located next to the plumbing for what I can only assume was the entire hotel because the sound of water moving was constant. I was informed by the staff that the A/C was not turned on - so that was an outright lie in advertising; then told by the staff to open my window if I wanted cooler air; when I opened my window while taking a shower, about 45 bugs entered my room and were on the ceiling so I was not able to kill them and had to have them in my room for the rest of my stay. On top of all of this, I had a stay with 2 rooms for a total of 17 nights and the staff would not give me any bottles of water that are part of the rewards program. I was point blank told by the staff that if I checked out and checked back in that I could then have the water, as it would only be rewarded during my next stay, but not during.

Smart, beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Very comfortable bed. Easy walk into centre of Mahon. Only negatives were that the restaurant menu was the same each of 3 nights we were there and the spa was disappointing I.e. steam room was not functioning and some of pool water features were not working.

Very friendly staff,renovated recently. We didnt like the wall seing like carboard,next room shower sound like is inside ours. The noise coming from upstair room was loud and late night. Not the quiet hotel we use to stay.
