The size of the room is specious with sufficient space for storing luggage, and the floor is very clean and comfortable to walk on with bare feet, so feel free to leave your shoe by the door. As for the bed, it is very large and comfortable, providing you the high quality of sleeping without any problems. In the bathroom, it is not only very elegant and clean, but also provides unlimited hot water with satisfying water pressure from two types of shower heads. Moreover, there is a mini fridge placed in the lower closet near the wardrobe, feel free to drink the two bottles of spring water prepared by the host or store your own drinks or unfinished meals. In addition, there is a small safe above the fridge for depositing your valuables. In terms of the amenities on the ground floor, there is a high-end restaurant serving traditional English breakfast (e.g. egg benedict) in the morning, and the taste is fine. However, I am not a big fan of their lunch or dinner when you can have better options in nearby restaurants. Furthermore, there is a small bar just outside the restaurant. The Gym, coffee room and reception are at the LG level, and you will receive a 10% discount in the coffee room after check-in. The location is very close to the city center, train station and several main attractions such as the cathedral and castle. Overall, I enjoy my two-day stay very much, the price of the hotel is very cost-effective in terms of the four-star standards, providing an unforgettable experience for both tourists and business travelers.

Замечательный отель! Идеальное расположение для посещения города, всего в нескольких шагах от центра. Номер был действительно просторным, с большой кроватью, диваном и журнальным столиком, письменным столом и большим количеством места между ними. В номере был чайник и чай/растворимый кофе, а также кофемашина Nespresso и мини-холодильник, который очень пригодился для охлаждения напитков. Ванная комната была чистой и имела хорошую планировку с душевой перегородкой над ванной (никаких проливов!) и множеством держателей для мыла. Также были роскошные шампунь и кондиционер This Works и действительно хороший гель для душа. Он казался намного роскошнее, чем мы ожидали, — даже были банные халаты и тапочки. У нас был номер на втором этаже с видом на собор (мы могли слышать колокола!), выходящий на дорогу снаружи. Движение ночью стихало и не мешало нам спать, и в целом в отеле было тихо. Номер был хорошо убран, но были небольшие оплошности: например, на передней части стола и ручке кофеварки были видны исторические проливы; на окне (с современным дополнительным стеклом для создания двойного остекления) были отпечатки лбов и носов других гостей (мы сами обнаружили, как легко поддаться очарованию вида, наклониться вперед и забыть, что там есть окно...), но ванная комната, кровать и полы были абсолютно гигиеничными, и мы, тем не менее, чувствовали себя комфортно. Персонал был милым, гостеприимным и услужливым. В целом, нам очень понравилось наше пребывание!

From entering the Hotel till check out it was a very pleasant experience. The standards are excellent, my room was so comfortable and the sport complex just fabulous.

Amazing place! The reception is fabulous and the menu looks amazing! It's situated right next to a golf course so plenty of nature to explore. Staffs were friendly, rooms were cosy and comfy, good amenities too!

I have been to Hartlepool many times in the past stayed in different places over the years but the Grand Hotel I liked nice staff spacious rooms location ideal I did come across one rude customer that was not very nice despite the staff doing g everything they could for her so I just had to tell her off fo being so rude definitely will stay again and also o e mention to the curry house in the same building excellent food and again nice staff

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is ideal and the grounds were beautiful and quiet! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional! The only downside was that our room had only one plug socket that we could use.....just not enough these days, even just for basic needs..... very poor unfortuneatly. Air conditioning would have been welcomed, we would therefore definitely avoid this Hotel in summer months for this reason alone. One other small irritant, our bathroom had a glass shelf above the sink which tilited heavily towards the sink, so we had to be very careful to ensure things didn't keep falling over. Our breakfasts were excellent (apart from the Omelettes), and the service staff were very welcoming....a great start to any day!

Amazing hotel, perfect location for shopping at the Metro Centre. Fantastic breakfast with good quality ingredients. Also a steam room and swimming pool. The price was really cheap, considering everything on offer. Highly recommended for a short stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the location of our room was good. The only few niggles that we had, was that although the room was clean, it smelt a little bit smokey, it was too hot, we tried turning the radiator down a little but it wouldn't stay down, we did open the window, and the pillows were too hard for me. But for the 1 night we stayed it was ok.

W well-located Hotel with friendly staff and good food. The Hotel is a bit dated in its appearance and could be at an upper grade if rooms/bathroom had more standard items eg hairdryer, draw/shelf space). A ceiling leaking water into a bucket was not the fault of staff but did not create a good impression in reception.
